Hello! I took these photographs in honor of the natural beauty that surrounds us. The older I have gotten, the more I have begun to truly appreciate what the natural world has to offer. A respect of nature is simply an extension of self-respect. Have a great day everyone!

The top picture “My girls” looks like a painting. Very cool!

It totally does. I got a little crazy with the filtering on that one. But, the colors were so rich and sharp, that I could not resist. Thanks for being a part of my blog, Sue, and for tweeting the images!

Beautiful!! May I ask .. what kind of a camera do you use? I too love taking photos and all I use really is a dated digicam. I have an SLR but have not learned to maximize it’s use. My daughters keep encouraging me to use my IPhone claiming that it takes very good photos. I did use my IPhone in my recent trip to Cambodia, i still have to get used to it.
Your photos are artistically beautiful!

Thank you, Rina!! That is really nice of you to say. For these particular photos, I used my iPhone camera. In my opinion, it is all about the person taking the picture (most of the time). If you see something beautiful, and then capture it just right…magic happens. I take a lot of photos that I never dare to publish. They seem like they would be nice, and then when I further examine them, I decide to just to put them in the vault. Can you let me see some of your photos??

See you in Facebook! Ignore the social photos and take a peek at my travel photos. Most recent is Cambodia. I like my Japan photos! Kyoto, Tokyo, Mt. Fuji, Shirakawa-go etc. and good ole Santa Monica and Venice beach! New York, San Francisco. Only the Cambodia photos were taken with my iphone. the rest were using a digicam which my daughters and niece thinks is so outdated!
