A very good advice. Just in time for me – a very mean neighbor damaged my car 😦

Oh no! That’s annoying. Sorry to hear. Are they going to pay for the damage??

Enjoyed this post, Kevin. It’s important to forgive and get on with your life. I believe that you can forgive and still not forget as long as you don’t let hurt blind you. Thank you so much for the follow 🙂

Great article, Kevin. I think the five points you mentioned are good for happiness in general. Thank you for sharing about your childhood, I can tell you are comfortable in your own skin.

Hi Nicole, thank you for the comment. I agree with you. Happiness and keeping a calm demeanor are connected. I try my best to be comfortable in my own skin…except for when I get sunburn, which is often for an Irish-American guy living in SoCal. lol

I have found that when anger sets in, you literally don’t know what you’re doing, it blinds you to what is reality, and it is pure exhaustion as though you’ve run a marathon. Great article!

You hit the nail on the head. I totally agree. When you lose your temper, you become like some out of control monster. It is horrible. And, like you said, exhausting. Great comment. Thanks!

Kevin, I hope the lil typo mistake was okay that day!! I’ll be glad if I could make you smile for that.
With writing thoughts just making friends along or creating friendly environment always helps I feel!!

Of course it made me smile!! I am a comedian, I love to joke around. If I could, I would spend my whole life being silly, and not being serious. haha. I love a sense of humor, so please joke with me anytime you want!! That’s why I misspelled your name. Just being silly back. 🙂

Great post !
My problem is , though I can forgive, I cannot forget. I had a best friend who had done me wrong. here’s the thing, we’re still friends after all these years ( you can say , a childhood friend , and we still get together, and I usually have a good time with her, but I don’t trust her anymore, and every time I remember, I still feel some pain. I just think that’s her personality, and that untrustworthiness is part of her character, and I guess I have to accept that and I have to be careful.

Thanks! I am all in favor of forgiveness, but I am also a realist like you. As you said, just be careful. As the old saying goes “hurt me once, shame on you. hurt me twice, shame on me.” Great comment. Hope your studies are going well. 🙂

Great post Kevin. Thank you for sharing your experiences. Anger is one of those emotions that can dig deep and fester over time. For me, it resulted with anxiety issues. But, from personal experience, I find that forgiveness and letting go is one of the best remedies. Oh yeah, everyone needs to laugh more 🙂
