Hello Everyone!! It’s been a little while since I posted, but I’m baaaack!

I took these photos in the Santa Clarita Valley, a beautiful region located in northern Los Angeles County — not far from the Mojave Desert (and about an hour from downtown LA).

I’m not trying to boss you around – BUT…when viewing the photos, try this:

Imagine basking in the warm California sun…Let a slight breeze brush over your skin…Lose yourself in the beauty of Mother Nature. And forget your troubles for a few moments. 🙂

    • Hi Michele! Thanks for the kind words. Ahh, the Pacific Northwest. One of my favorite parts of the country. I want to go there soon, and take some photos. In fact, I am looking at a photo right now of my wife and I sitting on some stones on a beach on one of the San Juan Islands. Happy Holidays!!

  2. It’s a real treat to view your photographs and I have no problem being bossed around and told to enjoy your lovely countryside and warm sunshine! 😀 These are stunning as always and they have stayed with me all day on yet another grey December day – I thought the sun had ceased to exist!

  3. I see you spent some time at Vasquez Rocks… 🙂 You were just a hop-skip-jump from me, here in Lancaster. Only thing… is there is NOTHING warm around here at this time of year!!! I think we hit 19 degrees last night… brrrr. It might not compare to what you’re used to, though… 🙂

  5. Hi Kevin, Love the pic of earth’s gifts! I collect crystals/gemstones. It looks like you have red quartz spread throughout the layers of other quartz. It is aid that the metaphysical meaning of this quartz is: it stimulates energy, vitality, passion and creativity. Maybe that’s why you were drawn to take a pic of it? Still trying to organize time from work to get to see for myself!

  6. Beautiful pictures, Kevin! Without you even saying so, at first sight of those pictures I had imagined myself basking in the Californian sun. The pictures do a good job of imposing that thought. I could literally feel the warm sun kissing my skin! 😉
