Hello Friends! 🙂
My family and I recently visited Devil’s Punchbowl, which is an insanely beautiful Los Angeles County Park nestled within Angeles National Forest. The park has a lot of grand and unique features, and that is due to the park’s proximity to the famous San Andreas Fault (an 800-mile tectonic boundary between the Pacific Plate and the North American Plate).
Places like the Devil’s Punchbowl can really make you appreciate the natural splendors that surround us. I’m a pretty energetic guy, and constantly on the move. But, I absolutely love stopping for a moment and just staring at the wonders of Mother Nature. Please enjoy these photos I took!! Have a fantastic day!

Hi Kevin! 🙂 Thank you for liking “Transition” and “Movie Poster Misadventure.” I enjoyed your colorful and fantastic photos too! I recently learned that California has many beautiful national parks throughout the state. The name of this place caught my attention too. I hope it was not as hot as he** when you visited the Devil’s Punchbowl. 😀

It was really hot! But, we found shade when we could. Thanks for the kind words, Arlene! Yep, California is filled with national, state and municipal parks. Literally, it could take a lifetime to visit and experience all of them. Have a great day!!

You are welcome, Kevin. 🙂 I am glad that you and your family were able to find some shade. I like hot weather, but I don’t like to get overheated in the sun. I think you are right about needing a lifetime (or close to it) to visit all of California’s parks. Some of them are huge.
I hope you enjoy the rest of your week. Take care. 🙂

I miss nature in America.
Today I went to standup comedy show by American and English guys in Fukuoka Japan.
It was funny, lounging is great.
But I wish I can understand English more.😊

Thank you! My wife and I would love to visit Japan one day. The history and culture of Japan fascinates me. When we do visit, I’ll surely request some tips from you. 😀 Glad you had fun at the comedy show. It’s tough sometimes to get humor if you are not fluent in that language. But I’m sure you had a great time with the Japanese comic. Have a great day!

That’s funny, because when I first looked up info on the CA version, the one located in Britain came up in my search. Apparently, there are “Devil’s Punchbowls” in a bunch of places across the world. Thanks for the comment!! Have a nice weekend…

This really takes me back in time. I used to hike the Punchbowl frequently, and even made it to Satan’s seat (not a name I would have chosen for such a beautiful view) It is truly beautiful place to visit. You can even take a backpacking trail that ends at Big Rock Creek a place I used to go camping. Thanks for sharing these beautiful pictures.

Hi Julie, thank you for the kind words and comment! I would have loved to explore more of the park, but that will have to wait – our kids are 3 yrs old and 5 months old. 🙂 We were very limited due to obvious reasons. Plus, my 3 year old daughter protested the first hour we were there, but she eventually realized we were there to have fun. hahaha Thanks again!
