Rustic California: The Wild West in Technicolor (9 Amazing Photos)

“The Bridge of My Journey” (Ventura Beach, CA)

“Life should be cherished, and treated as an adventurous voyage of which you are the navigator.”

I wrote the above quote a couple of years ago in a blog post, and I remind myself of that phrase quite often. It’s a motto to which I try to live by each and every day.

“Sweet Balance” (Vasquez Rocks, CA)

With all of that life cherishing going down, we shouldn’t forget about the most important part of our existence. And that is…the people who love and support us. They are amazing, and we should remind them of that quite often. 🙂

Please enjoy these photos I took. Have a great day, my friends!

“Man vs. Nature” (Newhall, CA)

“Purple Skies” (Agua Dulce, CA)

“Industry in the Sun” (Santa Clarita, CA)

“Carefree” (Santa Clarita, CA)

“Broken History” (Mentryville, CA)

“Life in Green” (Pacific Ocean)

“Peek-a-Boo” (Newhall, CA)

  1. Your photos are just fantastic. No wonder you put them up for sale.
If I were to pick favourites it would be “Purple sky” and “Carefree” .
Oh, your quote. Great and I have copied it into my file.

    • Thank you! No – believe it or not. I agree – totally likes a miniature scene. But all I did was blur the background and somehow the end result is what you see. I thought it looked cool. Thanks for noticing! 👍🏼😎

  3. Your outlook on life is very similar to my own. Just loved the variety in your pictures. You live in a place on the other side of USA and it is always wonderful through this place, WP, to visit those places I know not. Great post, Kevin! ❤

    • Thanks Amy! I try my best to live with optimism. It’s not easy sometimes. But, it truly is the only way to approach life. Treat others with kindness and respect. And be grateful for what you have. It’s a crazy world, and I do my best to block out the negativity. Thanks again!! Have a splendid day. 🙂

    • Hello Annika! Thanks so much. Yeah, my family and I went on a hike and stumbled upon the oil derricks. They were just pumping away, and we could walk right up to them. The derricks were huge! Always great to hear from you. Have a great weekend!

      • Monroe! That’s the next town over from where I grew up. Washingtonville. Haha, funny about the California thing. Yeah, I have been out here for about 5 years. All of the sunshine changes a man. lol I totally agree. NYS has a lot of great things to offer. I have been everywhere from Niagara Falls to Montauk Point to Lake Placid to Manhattan. Beautiful state. Glad you are doing PR for it.
