Paris and Holland: Through the Lens of an American

“Reality’s Illusion” (Kaatsheuvel, Holland)

Hi Friends!! It’s been a loooong time…but I’m back with some cool shots from my recent trip to Holland and France. Hope everyone is doing well and staying out of trouble. 😉

Life has been extremely busy, but I refuse to give up on my blog. After all these years, I really still enjoy the community. 🙂

Hope you enjoy the images and the little creative flair I added to each shot. Take care!!

  1. Hi Kevin,
Fantastic photos! I am glad you are still blogging and taking pictures. I hope you and your family are well and that you were not negatively impacted by that tropical storm (or was it a hurricane?) Take care. 🙂

  2. Lovely to see a post from you, Kevin and I agree, there is a joy in being part of this WP community!

I love your creative flair and additions to the photos – I’ve never seen The Eiffel Tower looking so beguiling and beautiful. Glad you all had fun time in Europe.

    • That’s awesome. I studied in Holland (Utrecht) for a semester in college and my wife is from there – my kids hold dual US / Dutch passports. But since moving from NY to CA, we don’t get there as often (for obvious reasons). Good to hear from you, safe travels in September and have fun judging some (hopefully) delicious food. 🙂

  3. Great album, Kevin, I especially like “Retro La Tour Eiffel.” I was in France a couple months ago and ready to go back in a heartbeat. A nice surprise to see a post from you this morning. I haven’t been posting either, started a new job and pouring on the hours but I’ll reboot the blog this fall.
Hope all is well in your part of CA and Hilary isn’t being too disruptive.

    • Thanks Robert! Good to hear from you. I was wondering if you were still doing your blog – glad to hear you’ll be back. I hear ya — work is crazy busy for me too. It was very rainy yesterday (but not much wind) and the river behind our house was flowing — normally it’s bone dry. Talk soon man!

  4. Wonderful to see you back again, made me smile this morning. Yes, life
can carry you on a very busy ride at times and I have this dilemma too.
You didnt forget the community here and for that I am glad.

Your photos ( paintings) are so beautiful and uplifting. I have travelled these places a few times but your photos lift them even higher. A wonderful art you
    have. Never stop. :))

  7. Great photos Kevin! Great to see again. Hope you and your family enjoyed your trip.

After I almost died twice last Nov. and had up to 400 + emails in my inbox during the two month crisis and recovery I unsubscribed from many blogs and groups I’d been connected to but I kept yours as I enjoy your light and creativity.

      • Thanks. Yep..two near death experiences within 10 days of each other. That and 5 1/2 weeks in rehab working to sit up, roll over and walk again…quite the miracle and journey.

Hope you are safe where you are in CA.
