  1. Thanks for following my blog! I hope if you can find the time that you will stop by my page called “Reasons to Smile” and leave a comment. It’s a list of things people are thankful for, just to encourage each other. I’d love to hear your thoughts!

  2. I call myself a rambler, not a writer. Gosh I don’t even write in my mother tongue, but I appreciate you stopping by my blog and I am very surprised by the “follow”. I enjoy telling stories to my keyboard, does that make sense? Anyhow, nice to meet you Kevin 🙂

    • Yes, it makes perfect sense. Do what you gotta do!! Keep up the great work on your blog. It is apparent that you are dedicated to your website, and put in the work that needs to be done. Pleasure meeting you, as well. 🙂

  3. Thanks for following my blog, Kevin! You sound like a renaissance man. I’m going to follow your blog as well. I’d be curious to hear who some of your favorite stand-up comics are. Meanwhile, please Google “mark peters wordlust” and click the first item that comes up on the list. Mr. Peters’ Twitter feed includes 31,700 jokes and counting–and a lot of them are hilarious.

    • I will check that out. Thanks for the tip. Comics – I really enjoy Louis CK, Brian Regan, Jim Gaffigan, Dave Chappelle, and a host of others. I really enjoy Eddie Murphy’s old stuff. He was hysterical.

  6. First, let me say I am glad you liked my blog enough to follow it. Second, just read your comment above and I, like you, wrote a lot of poetry when really young then more or less quit. I wrote, but technical stuff for which I was paid while working as a corporate manager. Then I taught math for years. Finally, I told my self I needed to go back to the creative stuff. Last spring my book of poetry was published by a small press in the Phoenix area, Uno Mundo Press. Yes, you should start writing some poetry again!

    • Hi Juliana! Right now, I am focusing on getting my TV or screenwriting career off the ground. A daunting, but fun, task. If I never see my ideas on the little or big screen, so be it. But, at least, I tried. As for poetry, I will definitely start writing it again. This weekend, I had some ideas, and am interested in publishing a poem on my blog for the first time. Thanks for the comment!

  7. Thank you for your follow….and hello from Scotland! Nice to have a follow from L.A.! I’m still new at it but so far, when I actually get a chance to write a blog, I’m loving the opportunity to have an out-let to articulate my reflections – I have so many topics I’d love to write about! Well done on your blog, it looks great. 🙂

  8. Thanks for the follow Kevin. Really incredible writing and photos here. I’ve been exploring your blog a little and really grateful for what I’ve found. It’s a real honor to have you follow me. Thanks again.

  9. Thank you for following me. I am glad my writing is of interest to you. I think once an individual, for whatever reason, starts writing it becomes addictive. It is not a natural activity so it lends itself to the creation of art. Even lawyers create the art of legal writing, such as it is. Yes, hardly riveting reading but the beauty is in the logic, the same as any story told by any fiction writer. We all share in that beauty.

    • Thanks Krissy! This is the greatest honor I have ever received. Ever. (crickets). LOL Seriously, thank you! I will check it out. Although, I really don’t do much with awards. Only because of my time constraints. I wish I could post at least 3-4 days a week, but lately its only been once or twice a week. How is the weather up by you? Spring showing its face?

  11. Hello.

I’ve nominated you for the Very Inspiring Blogger Award on my latest post.

I don’t know if you’re into such things (it’s OK, if you’re not). Just so you know: by this I mainly wanted to express that I really like to read your blog (I’m also simply curious about 7 facts about you).

Thank you for your great writing!
    Kate.

    • Hi Kate, thank for the kind words. Seriously. That is very nice to hear. Yeah, I am not really into the Awards (only because of my time constraints). BUT…I would happy to tell you 7 things about myself. Give me a few days…and I promise to respond on your website with 7 things about me. That is very cool of you to ask. I am gonna check out your music. I look forward to sharing that info soon. Have a great day!

  12. Thank you, Kevin, for liking my Post on Empty. The St. Nickolas Coal Breaker just outside of the Town Shenandoah, PA has been empty for many years and just will waste away into the History books. At one time it was a major producer of processed Coal when Coal was King just North of here. I have been told that the Breaker is no longer standing. Torn down. Nothing to show it was there, except a big empty black space. Things such as this is what I enjoy doing. Snooping around in History. Regards ~ Les

  13. Kevin, thanks so much for following my blog, WordThoughts. I’ll do my best to keep you informed and entertained. Interesting that you are a lawyer. So is my husband, whose writing happens to be a credit to the profession. As you are a writer yourself, I can bet most legal writing sets your molars a-jangling. Lawyers reach the pinnacle of pomposity. As a corporate writing coach I did my best to fight the jargon, although it was mostly a losing battle.

    Cheers!

  14. Hi Kevin, Thanks for the ‘follow’. You’ve got a nice site here. As my kids are a bit older now than yours, I still think of those days when they were toddlers and children. I’m going to follow you back. Thanks again!

  15. HI Kevin – Thank you very much for the follow! I note that you ‘re a creative writer as well (and attorney – echoes of John Grisham?) AND photographer. I love writing, although I’m writing mostly poetry at the moment. I hope you enjoy my musings. Looking forward to more of your writing and photos.

      • All the more reason to share some of your writings over on LfD! 😉 Especially (underlined twice and in bold) if you have stories about dogs. I’m struggling to complete a fictional book about dogs under the same name as the blog. Key word in that last sentence was ‘struggling’!

        Liked by 1 person

      • I am totally interested in writing an article about dogs for your blog. I am in the midst of writing a television script for a writing program that I want to be accepted to. That will be completed in two weeks. After that, I will get in touch with my idea. Thanks for the offer!

  17. Excellent. I had a buddy who encouraged me, back when you were a toddler, but I heard a recording of Dylan Thomas reading one of his poems and it taught me about cadence and the music that is hidden in the spoke world. I have been on that pony every since.
